The instructions are in the manual that came with the engine - be advised that you must DISASSEMBLE the three sections to access the center cab which contains the battery!
Thanks @Art. Unfortunately, i bought it without the manual and couldn't find it either on MTH website.. I'll figure it out.. but sounds like a pain in the ***... I might just leave it be...
Unfortunately, I do not have my P-2 Brute manual here in Nashville, TN or I would make you a copy of the instruction pages. Try calling MTH Service after the holidays and maybe they can help you.
I'm 99.999%, and then some, positive the correct choice of BCR would be the 3 volt. The Brute is only a few years old. The 5 volt PS2 units were stopped over 12 years ago. Find the charging port on the Brute and you should see a box with two contacts for the charger. That indicates a 3 volt system. A barrel (round) jack, or no jack, indicates an older 5 volt system
I managed to took it apart VERY CAREFULLY with my wife's help, it's really a crappy design!! It looks like a 3v, I'm waiting for my BCR to get here and I'll put that in once and forget about it.
