It is tempting. I think any other road on that engine I probably wouldn't give a second look but that is very nice!
You can see the real engine in Roanoke Virginia at the Virginia Museum of Transportation. The 'J', class A, and many others reside there too.

I took the above pictures at MTH 2 weeks ago. The picture below I took of the real thing this past Saturday.

Interesting that it's going up before York this time around. Thanks for the update.
Yes Matt, I think the NS heritage models have something to do with it. JUST A WILD GUESS!
Very sharp looking.....N&W fans....did the N&W have a matching caboose for this engine?

I guess MTH got tired of people complaining about York attendees being the first to see the new catalog. I really don't understand the need in adults to be the first kid on the block to see the new catalogs.
This is a good thing, IMHO, as it lets those who can't go to York know that MTH cares about them, too, and the York attendees still get the privilege of being the first to get their hands on printed copies of their own.

Picked up my copy yesterday at my LHS.

Hopefully, there won't be too much complaining from the York attendees that are among the "I gotta be first" crowd.
