MTH CP Holiday Train

I am really hoping they’ll do another run of the locomotive and the various cars. Although, I would want the stage car to have sound or something to simulate the concerts.

I wish MTH would issue more lighted Christmas cars, other than the tree or snowman cars.  Maybe another engine with lights and then partner with Atlas for more lighted passenger cars.

@Keith Crook 020419 - I was able to find the stage car separately available. Now all I need is a few people to populate it as a band.

I actually have the stage car, which is why I want the original Premiere set.  It just looks goofy with the Railking cars.  You can put a small Bluetooth speaker in the stage car, but finding non-marching band figures is difficult.  If you can find appropriate figures, and light the interior, you will still need to display it on a siding due to the set-up work with the stage legs.  I thought that due to licensing rights, the CP Holiday Train and the variants would become a steady income source for MTH for years to come.  I'm still waiting for an AMRoad "Silver Streak" set to be produced in O gauge. 15" aluminum cars with silhouettes would be fine with me!  George on a passenger car rooftop shooting the 7'+ tall Reace (Jaws) with a spear gun would put the disappearing Hobo to shame!  A dome observation car would be a must!

I hope they do as well. I have the Railking version,  as well as the Premier stage car and the Premier Van Horne observation car. Obviously they're both a bit larger, but not a deal breaker for me.  I would like to see a GP20C-ECO, but won't hold my breath.....

All I'm gonna say is that there are some rumors going around that mth will do another run of the cp holiday train and it might be an updated version of the CPKC or something now. Again, these are just rumors and I've heard people talk about it however I haven't seen nor heard mth confirm it or make it official but it might come back, you never know. I have the premier version of the cp holiday train with the stage car. I recently bought the whole set in december just on time before christmas and let me tell you that it's a piece of gold I don't think I will ever sell.

I really hope they rerun the LED lighted x-mas passenger cars.  Also, it would be great if they made a run of Halloween passenger cars!!!   No "Happy Halloween"!!   Something more in the line of "Erie Express" or "Transylvania Lines".  There's plenty of opportunity here!!
