MTH DCS App doesn't fit Iphone 12 Mini Screen

Advice from a Gen Z O scale modeler - I grew up using iphones that would eventually grow old, and new apps wouldn't work well with it. It's not fun, but you just kind of have to deal with it somehow.

Since you have the iPhone 5s and the iPad Air, I would just keep using one of those for running your trains via the app.

Also, with the current situation at MTH, DCS software is nearly dead in the water. You probably wont see any updates to the app for the foreseeable future.

Unfortunately, things go out of date, and you just have to adapt to these things. A lot of us other modelers in O are.

My iPhone X is the same but the controls still work. Takes a little coaxing sometimes but they do function.

The reason the app doesn't look right on the screen is because the application developer hasn't updated the app to accommodate iPhones with the notch on top. It's my understanding that an app update is coming, along with the new WTIU or around that time.

Getting apps to work correctly with different sized screens is hard enough. Throw in android, apple, Windows etc manufacturers and it really gets to be fun.

I read in another thread that updates are coming later this year. That -might- help the mini issue.
