Did I just blow up my DCS Explorer? It lit up for a short time, I never did get a WIFI signal, but now it's dead. I have it wired direct to a loop of track along with a Lionel Power Brick.

All track power for the Explorer is designed to go through the Explorer to the track, so your setup applies a power input to the Explorer output electronics. Not how it was designed to operate, I guess and you may have blown the output circuit. Alternatively, this may have activated the overcurrent protection and the Explorer will be fine once you've removed the external power to the track from the Powerhouse. Just guessing here. More expert opinion will no doubt be coming.
Power goes into the input, then out through the banana plugs/binding posts to the track. It will not work in passive mode as you have wired it.

As pictured above, there is a replaceable fuse that may have blown. If so You can buy replacements at an auto parts store.

Thanks guys, I'll remove the power brick, replace the fuse and give it another try.
