My docs remote stop working , buttons don't hardly function, new batteries, etc. my iPad runs the trains fine.., wheel doesn't seem to work. Rotation is slow or not at all. Can' turn it off. Read button doesn't show anything. etc.

mine did that and I took the shell off and sprayed it with 91 alachol let it ry for a day and see what happens sometimes they just wear out
you might want to clean the battery terminals inside the back of the remote. For best results install a small brass or wire brush on your dremel tool and clean the contacts. A film could develop on these contacts. Also clean the battery terminals.

There's an RF board at the display end of the remote. Sometimes this board works loose and the remote won't communicate with the TIU(s) wirelessly (will work when tethered). Re-seat this board securely and put a small piece of foam rubber on top of it before re-assembling the remote. This will keep the board from working loose if the remote is dropped.
My remote dates back to the early 2000's and still works.
Anyone know if he fixed it?
