There are several earlier threads about this product, but all are closed to posting.  There was speculation on track alignment in the shed for various manufacturers' track.  I am using MTH Realtrax.  Has anyone determined which switch (072, 054, wye, etc.) provides a perfect line-up with the two stalls?  My shed is from 2004 Volume 2 catalog.

I used flex track extended from a Ross 4-way Yard switch which made lining up with the doors easy. When the house was first issued I believe it was cataloged as a Car Shop.

I eventually raised the roof to achieve a clerestory effect and added "doghouses"and vent stacks to more effectively represent an Enginehouse .

You could likely use a second engine house to extend the first by whatever length you choose, up to double length (with a little kit-bashing!). Or I believe the old IHC-Atlas two stall engine house is around 28" long, which would be too short for a scale BB, but would likely fit a Lionmaster BB.

I found the Atlas engine house after posting this, but then learned that they are very hard to come by.  If I could find two without breaking the bank, it seems they are the way to go as what I've read it is made modularly so it lends itself to being lengthened (Or shortened.).

The IHC-Atlas is indeed a kit, as opposed to the MTH which I believe comes fully assembled. The long walls of the IHC-Atlas are comprised of 4 sections, so they can be shortened. With two kits you could lengthen it as needed, as you said. Another option for a single IHC-Atlas kit would be to lengthen one stall with a kit-bashed stall extension. I think this is akin to what UP actually did in real life to accommodate BB's.
