When was the last time MTH made either a E-33 or E-44 Electric Engine? If MTH would rerun these locomotives, which road names would you like to produced?

FWIW, I would like to see MTH come out with the U25C. They have the trucks which are used on the E44 and E33
prrhorseshoecurve, Yes, that would be a wonderful locomotive for MTH to make. Have you ever discussed this with them? If I was you, I would call them on Monday and talk to Rich Foster. I like your idea.
I would be surprised if they would invest in the tooling required, given the state of the economy now and relations with China going sour.
Sometimes you have to risk it to get the biscuit.
2014 is the last time I can see. Which is a while ago, but not a stupidly long time.
Any chance and I'm hoping Lionel has the tooling for a Legacy PRR E-44 - fingers crossed
I kinda doubt on the Lionel E44. Pretty boring, not much, if any 'wizz-bang' features for an electric loco for a Legacy engine. MTH already did some and I don't see Lionel investing in the tooling, I sure it wasn't a very hot seller for MTH.
Hi Chuck - I have to agree with you - I think the E-44’s would not appeal to everyone - definitely an acquired taste - certainly not seen by most either
Myself - grew up in Northeast Philly I saw them all the time - they were everywhere
I would like the PC, Wich MTH only offered in a set. Messed up the air logo. Also Conrail blue and black patch! I’m sure Muffins or Pars. Maybe Hennings would do it. I will email Steve. I took a risk and emailed him on ex NH FA 2 patch and hi did a custom run .
I have pair of Protosounds E33s in Conrail. Not sure I would add more at this point. Maybe an E44 buy only if it was offered in 3/2 which is not likely.
None for me (even if 3/2) as I have several Wolfer/Duddy E44s.
Note that the top 4400 is numbered 4440 on all the other number positions.

For RailKing engines, it's been a while......I got these engines from Chesterfield Hobbies in Midlothian, VA......and, they closed in 2013 when the owner retired.

I love all the different types of Tropicana Juice cars, although I did lose count.
Hello Jim,
I would be interested in a Premier (not RailKing) E-33 or E-44 in Conrail blue. I found the latest MTH E-33 and E-44 production at: https://mthtrains.com/search/e-44 and https://mthtrains.com/search/e-33. The RailKing versions are not full scale. Thanks
