Still waiting on tinplate from the 2016 catalog........

I spoke with Mike at York.. he said the tinplate stuff was "on the water".... wow, talk about a "slow boat FROM China!"

Last I checked the tinplate items are STILL on the water!  (Is the Panama Canal closed?!)  Now MTH estimates a late June delivery.

PLEASE DON'T SHOOT THE MESSENGER!

Sometimes it just works out.  These fall 2018 v1 items were originally scheduled to deliver Feb 2018.  Everyone knows that's unrealistic, so landing in June in advance of the currently listed July 2018 delivery is pretty good.  Unless it's a split shipment and yours is still in China...

Heck, last year, the spring 2017 v2 GP40s were even better.  They arrived in October 2017 !!

          Looks about normal to me.

Weren't  these items announced 8 months ago in OCT 2017 for 2018 VOLUME 1.

Don't know how it is possible, but I'm sure glad it is because a couple of those GEEPs are supposed to be heading my way.

That has to be the ARMY GP-9.  I remember many posts where you mentioned your fondness for the Army trains and Alaska RR if memory serves.  It is a sharp looking GEEP.  I very much like the similar looking Lehigh Valley one.  If I see it in person I know I am going to end up taking it home.  BigRail

Yep! The Army GEEP it is (in two cab numbers). I'm selling my Alaska roster, even though I very much like Alaska RR, and the new layout will feature U.S. Army Transportation Corps, Ohio Central. and a bit of Amtrak thrown in for good measure (along with running privileges for my ever-growing roster of demonstrator locomotives).
