I have an MTH VO 1000 and a MTH GE EVO that both start at the same time when I turn either one on using the DCS remote for start up. Can anyone tell me how I can stop this from happening? It doesn't affect any of my other engines. Thanks!

Do a factory reset on both of the engines, then add them back in one at a time. Problem solved.
Wouldn't he just edit the address of one loco while the other is off the tracks?

I think Barry is probably right, if the battery isn't charged, it could explain his issues.
good time to mention a BCR.
before you re-add it, make sure that it has a well-charged battery or you'll wind up right back where you started.
The other night at NJHiRailers, I tried adding my Texas Special F-3 to the system. During several tries it mysteriously dropped out of the system, and on other tries, it would change by itself to a different number. I removed the shell and found the original MTH battery was still installed. I replaced it with a new one and no more problems.
