MTH F-3 shell compatibility

Hello,

I have a set of MTH F-3 AA's from about 2000 that have custom painted shells and PS-1 electronics.  I am wondering if I could put these shells on a later set of MTH F-3's to get better performance and electronics.  The trucks are black but the front skirt is a custom color.  I don't have any other MTH F-3's to compare the mountings.
