Which MTH fan driven smoke unit (model/part#) works well with a ERR TMCC upgrade with the Super Chuffer?

Pretty much any of them will work fine with a Super-Chuffer upgrade. You do have to change the resistors in the MTH smoke units, I replace the two 16 ohm resistors with one 20 ohm 2W wirewound resistor. The replacement resistor goes in the holes nearest the stack and I simply plug the other two holes with solder. The standard MTH smoke units are my go-to choices for many of my upgrades.
Thank you John. Where do you usually purchase them?

Go to mthpartsandsales.com look under parts inventory, type in smoke unit, and shop away, ….

Here's the two smoke units I use about 90% of the time.
A vast majority of the time it's this one.
For smaller jobs, I use this single resistor model.
For either of these, I use this brass cup to solder my stack extension on.
