Resetting Lionel Legacy Steam to Factory Settings

I wanted to reset a Legacy Steam Engine to factory settings to remove/reset the existing Engine ID Number.

Are these the correct steps?

Based on the 990, I assume the Base 3 is the same.

Change pgm/run to pgm on Engine

Enter Engine Number
Depress SET
Depress AUX1
Depress #1 for Steam or Depress #2 for Diesel?
