MTH NJT ALP-46 Trouble

Are the belts slipping?  Coming down requires more tension pulling against the spring.  So you need to watch to see if motor is rotating but the pulley slips on the belt.  If so, change belts.  Go to automotive store or Home depot to get a similarly sized O-ring.

If motor only turns in one direction, PCB can be bad, or a wire is off/open to the PCB.  The panto board is $25 or $30.  G

Does anyone know if mth has a pantograph motor in stock for parts? My front pantograph motor only turns in one direction, Also what could I do for a wire being off or open to the PCB

p.s. usually if the motor runs in one direction it should run in the other direction.

Found one of the wires to be detached from the plug that goes into the PCB, I tried just putting it back in but it is a very loose connection. Does anyone have any ideas for a better way to reinstall it? Also attached below is an image of it

Use a pin and lift the tab that locks the terminal into the connector.  Push wire into terminal an apply a dab of solder.  Reinstall in housing.  G

@GGG Are the top white pieces the pins? I attached a image.

the tabs are the white pieces of plastic you lift them up just enough to remove the wire pin but just enough to release the wire connector otherwise you can break the white pin as you lift it. be Gentle and will be a easy fix!
