Hi. Does anyone have any spare parts for the Coors Light engine?
i need to replace the ‘cow catcher’. My train decided to stop head on with a steam engine 😁
E bay
entire engine shell is available. For Future encounters?
At least you can laugh about it.
Gomez Adams would be proud of you.
Why buy the whole shell when you can have the pilot for $6?
Hi. Do you have the pilot available. Believe it has 2 screws attaching it to the shell
the shell for sale does not have the pilot With it
Hi. I’ve sent a message to MTH waiting for their reply
hope they have it

The pilot is listed on the MTH site, just enter that number into the SHOP link and order it. You might figure some other stuff to order as well to fill out the fixed cost shipping.

I’ve ordered the part from Mth
but since I live in Canada there was no place for me to list my correct mailing address
hope they can help me. Otherwise I might need someone to order the part for me
and ship to Canada. I can pay in advance

Ordering from Canada is not an issue, got an order from MTH a couple of weeks back with a new motor for this engine and other parts.
Just send in the details of what you are ordering and address they will e-mail you back the details of how to order. They shipped by Fed Ex international. (which I find is more expensive then regular post office)
I have a set I bought new when they came out with extra cars and tail car when it came out. I used to run the train with the MTH remote but I could never get all the cars to respond to the engine some would open doors it would take several button pushes to get them all open, and same with closing them. Tried small oval track cleaned wheels, rollers and track but never could get them all working. Would be different cars no mater which order you put them in that gave the problem. Got a little tired of the music. But when it did work it was real crowd pleaser at the train shows.
After a few years the board went in the engine and for train shows especially Christmas I just have the train running in circles with some colored lights shinning on the train. Still a crowd pleaser. Have run it ever Christmas since I got it for many hours and finally this season the motor wore out and had to replace it.
Hi. Have been in contact with MTH. Looks like I did manage to order correctly

You can replace the PS/2 board set with the PS32 boards using the COORS chain file, that will restore full function to your set.

Where does one get that chain file or is that an ASC exclusive.
I'm not sure where you get it today, but I'll post it with this message.

Thanks John!
Hi. Recd from MTH my replacement pilot part for my Coors Light engine. Looks perfect again, will make sure the engine decides not to run into my F3’s anymore.

Easy peasy, and MTH parts is shipping really quick nowadays. A far cry from the days of old when it took months to get a part! Now, it takes me longer to get Lionel parts than MTH parts, that was never the case before.
