Ive been reading through the forum and this is my first time posting.
I would like to know if it’s possible to replace or repair the LED charging lights on one of the trains my dad left my boys.
From what I understand it’s a niche feature on a few and they were working fine and have recently stopped.
When my dad was alive it was one of the trains I thought was annoying but it’s grown on my youngest son & he asked me to fix it, lol.
I did try and search prior to asking. I noticed a black thin plastic piece came loose towards the back and it seems to me perhaps somehow that happened caused them to stop…or we hit buttons on the Z-4000 in a weird sequence.
I tried going into program to 18 & 27 and engine runs great minus the lights…the white LED on the same axis works.
Considered taking it apart but I have enough experience to know I’ll cause bigger issues.
I’m glad to ship it to a repair facility and have started calling but it’s late in the day.
