MTH Premier 4-4-0 American on O-36 curves

Hello all.

Before I order one does anyone know if MTH's Premier 4-4-0 seam engines will run okay on O-36 curves? The specs say it requires O-42, but usually you can squeeze down a bit in requirements. MTH has one I'm interested in their latest catalog, but they've also released these before (such as 2015).

Also, the premier overton passenger cars have the same O-42 spec, but I believe they will run on O-36.
