I would like to see MTH remake their beautiful six car freight sets. The dealers had the option of selling them as a complete set or selling the cars individually.

I agree and would love to these types of sets again.
When we had our store, I broke several of the sets up and sold the cars individually. I remember the Pennsylvania sets sold the best.
As for me, I'd just love to see 'good 'ole Jim' selling ANYTHING!
I'd buy a 6-pack in Rail King, but preferably if they'd go with a smaller, not scale-sized caboose.

Jim - What was the name of the train store you owned back in the day?
Yank2304,
The name of our store was Jim's Train Shop. My wife and I ran it for thirty years.
I would like them to be 6 car sets but no caboose.
That's a good idea.
Menards is doing this albeit with a less detailed offering but unlimited numbers and dirt cheap prices.
I wish they would do S gauge.
