MTH proto 3 diesel smoke unit fan motor 2 questions?

I have a smoke unit in a MTH proto 3 diesel that is smoking fine but the motor for the fan is not working. It has been sitting stagnant on a shelf for a year. I brought the engine out to sell it. When I was testing everything on it I noticed the fan wasn’t working. Would it be worth the time and money to repair the motor to sell it or not? And as far as finding a replacement fan motor, I am halving a hard time locating one.
