Needing some help. I have 2 Erie 2032's The tops look really good the frames on the other hand look like poo. Has anyone ever repainted just the frames? what paint and color did you use for the stripe on the frame? It dose not look as bright as Erie yellow, looks more of a orange yellow.

Trying to paint that stripe on the frame is a real PITA ,…..I’d suggest finding an automotive refinishing store, & see if they can match that yellow in a pinstripe form…..the last Erie black & yellow Alcos I did, that’s how I striped them …….so much easier & quicker,…..I want to say 1/8” pinstripe wound up being perfect……holler if you want pics, I’m sure they’re dusty as get out ….
