Is anyone doing a special run of MTH Reading F-7’s? I don’t think they’ve been done since 2016.

Peter, if I was you, I would call Rich Foster of MTH Trains and ask him. Then, I would call several of the MTH dealers that are doing custom runs. You could ask them if they would be interested in doing a set of Reading F-7's.
Does anyone think that custom runs are beginning to flood the market? I enjoy buying quiet a few of the custom runs and I get to meet a lot train stores owners that are new to me. But now, it's getting harder to keep up, let alone being expensive.

I'm not finding much among the custom runs that interests me and I'm buying much less than I once did. There are too many custom runs and, in my opinion, not enough models of equipment of the historic mainline railroads and fallen flags.

I agree with Melgar, but for me it's the absence of southwest short lines.

Yep, how many different ways can you paint the same locomotive?

If you're a Reading man, you probably already know this but Atlas released Reading F7's last year. They're Master Line though so they're TMCC.
FYI to anyone having difficulty keeping up with MTH custom runs: you can check the ongoing list of custom runs on MTH's website. Here's how:
From the MTH homepage, click on "Product Locator":
Click on the "Choose a Catalog" drop-down menu:
Click on the year of your choosing to see the custom runs. That's it. They're all in one place for you.

I truly miss the old MTH catalogs that would come out!!! Just like when a was a kid with the sears and robuck catalog. It gave me time to dream and plan what I wanted.
@Arthur posted:Obviously, what you need is someone to do a "Special Run" of southwest short lines to satisfy your need, same way it's working for all the other "Special Run" requests.
The response has always been " I couldn't sell enough of those to cover my cost of the minimum order". Apparently there is not 30 to 50 people out there that want the same railroads I do.
