Does anyone think that custom runs are beginning to flood the market?  I enjoy buying quiet a few of the custom runs and I get to meet a lot train stores owners that are new to me.  But now, it's getting harder to keep up, let alone being expensive.

I'm not finding much among the custom runs that interests me and I'm buying much less than I once did. There are too many custom runs and, in my opinion, not enough models of equipment of the historic mainline railroads and fallen flags.

Is anyone doing a special run of MTH Reading F-7’s? I don’t think they’ve been done since 2016.

If you're a Reading man, you probably already know this but Atlas released Reading F7's last year.  They're Master Line though so they're TMCC.

FYI to anyone having difficulty keeping up with MTH custom runs: you can check the ongoing list of custom runs on MTH's website.  Here's how:

From the MTH homepage, click on "Product Locator":

1

Click on the "Choose a Catalog" drop-down menu:

2

Click on the year of your choosing to see the custom runs.  That's it.  They're all in one place for you.

Obviously, what you need is someone to do a "Special Run" of southwest short lines to satisfy your need, same way it's working for all the other "Special Run" requests.

The response has always been " I couldn't sell enough of those to cover my cost of the minimum order". Apparently there is not 30 to 50 people out there that want the same railroads I do.
