According to MTH's 2011 catalog, the 2011 and later Premier versions were made from new tooling. The ones made before 2011 might all ride on the same chassis. I know several MTH diesels that began their life as Premier models were later marketed as "RailKing Scale." This probably applies to some versions of the FM TrainMaster. My $.02.
