MTH Website: Bug - Virus - ?

The web site worked fine for me a minute ago...

Drupal is the program language  that is used to set it up. not sure why you were getting that message

Works ok .. just tried a minute ago.

Are you using Norton Internet Security?  It was messing me up on MTH and Ebay.

 

Removed it and my problems went away.\

I have been on and off the MTH site all day and haven't had that show up including one PC that had Norton Security Suite on it.

Not to hijack the original content, but in a related note, has anyone else gotten an error involving an expired certificate on the protosound2 site?

 

I get the following when I click on the download link for any of the files.

 

 

I suppose at some previous time I probably clicked on a button to "trust this certificate" (or similar).  If this really is on MTH's side as the error would indicate, it's odd that they would go from using certificates to then letting them expire.

If you are accessing the MTH website from your bookmark, try deleting it first. Then do your internet search for MTH and open that. If it works, make that your new bookmark.

I have no problems accessing the MTH site or the various sections thereof.  Just tried some of them again a few minutes ago, via Safari browser here at home.  Same results with Firefox.

MTH is in the process of getting a new web site set up and it's behind schedule. It was supposed to be up before the old certificate expired.

 

The last I heard it is now scheduled for July or August. In the interim, just disregard the messages or "trust" the site.

 

If you're having any other problems with the MTH site, it's almost certainly a browser issue. There are lots of free browsers so just try a different one. I use Safari on a Mac and haven't any issues any time that I visit either the MTH or Protosound2.com sites.

I guess I am a little late to the party with regards to downloading the latest software, so most folks probably last grabbed the software before the certificate expired in late December (so not a lot of folks are probably bumping into this at this point). 

 

I only went to download the new loader now as I had a PS 3 engine that came with the wrong file so this forced me to get the latest loader so I could get the correct sound file from MTH and load it into the engine.

I have tried to renew my club membership several times and keep getting the sight is not secure......

See my earlier post on this thread regarding certificate expiration. Just disregard the message or click on "trust this site".

My advice....................do not puchase anything over the Internet without a SSL certificate. period.

 

Appears the site is having technical issues again.  I was encountering an
Apache error message when using the product locator a little while ago.

They are working on the issue as we speak. Give them some time to resolve the issue.

The MTH site is up and working 99.9 percent of the time, and I frequently use the Product Locator to track down  items and check shipping dates.

 

However, the one area that has really been a problem is the online Warranty Registration feature. I don’t think that’s been working correctly for many months.

MTH cannot reach the folks at "Apache"...they appear to be "off" today. So, it may not be until tomorrow before the site is operational.  

Ok folks we are working on the issue.  There are connectivity issues between the MTH Site and the site that indexes and provides the search results.  We are working on the issue and should have a resolution before the end of the evening.

I was able to get onto the site but the product shipping search seems to be hosed up. I did a search for the RK-FM 30-20093-1 and it went no place. The little picture came up, but that was about it.

Is this the new site, or is that yet to come?

I tried to register a new engine on the site yesterday about 7:00 pm and site was having problems. I am sure they are on top of getting it fixed. Funny how panicky many of us get when sites go down, especially me. I always end up thinking problem is on my end. 

Apache?  Is that some kind of Search Injun?

Has anyone tried to download the 2012 Vol 2 catalog from MTH? I've been trying since they posted it on the site and continually get a "Page not found" message (including a few minutes ago). One of their office staff told me late June they were migrating to a new web page and it would be enabled by mid-July. End of August and nada.

I received an email from Midge Wilburn this morning.  They are still migrating to the new site.  I was receiving an expired site certificate warning on certain pages.
