Any Ideas?   sure....  The engines is in the inactive list and you can't get it out no matter what.

I would try the engine in conventional mode just to see if it powers up.  Something may have come disconnected while you had the front truck off.  I hope this is  not a case of something shorting out, so when trying conventional raise the throttle gently.

If it runs in conventional delete the engine from the remote and add it back again to the DCS remote.

Is the track power switch in the Track position?  Did you try deleting engine and a recover engine?  G

Thanks guys, I will try running into conventional mode. I already did delete the engine. I tried to recover the engine and still nothing. Other engines run fine. How could I have shorted something out when the engine was on a bench and come into no contact with electricity. The only thing that did happen was the pin that holds the front truck on did fall into  the  body  front  and so did the washer . Could that have caused a short ?

If powered up and on the circuit board yes.  But are you sure the engine is getting power.  It is very easy to knock the power switch off track and onto panto which means no AC power to the board.  G

Thank you for your reply. Can you please tell me how to and where to look for the power switch and check to see if I knocked it off track. Would appreciate it very much.

Ok, It is not a GG-1 it is an EF-3b.  I can't remember if they have a switch. If so they are on the chassis along the edge under the trucks.  G
