MTHRRC Tinplate 2015 O gauge car a reissue??

The 2 new cars are in a different paint scheme,  no?

I collect the 200 series club cars and I can't think of any different car that hasn't been done already (besides a 219 crane, which I don't want!).   They are definitely going to start repeating unless they switch over to Ives cars or something.

The O gauge Lionel Corporate Tinplate paint scheme car for 2015 is exactly the same car that was released a few years ago. There are still plenty of cars that they could make including a caboose which I cant think of a good reason why they wouldnt produce one.

It sure looks like the old one, but I suspect there is some detail or other that is different. In any case, I won't be buying one. 

The 2014 O Gauge MTHRRC tinplate car was a box car with only small logo differences from the very first O Gauge MTHRRC car (2006 or 7). I have both.  At least the 2015 MTHRRC tinplate reefer is a different color (35th anniversary white (?)).  Like the rest of the O Gauge LCT tinplate club collectors, I'm waiting for the caboose to match a nice looking set of cars.  I won't be doubling up on the LCT.  If MTH continues with their pattern of matching the car type for both the MTHRRC and LCT (which they will), we may have a few more years to wait. :-(

Your gripe is a good one. A caboose would be good by far. Lionel created how many variations? How many tank car variations? I do believe that the club cars use production over-runs.
