Loosing Mullet River as a manufacture was bad but loosing his website with the assembly instructions, advice and color pictures was even worse now that I am trying to build the kits.   I asked him when I saw the website had been taken down would he sell copies of a cd with all the info on it but haven't ever seen it done.   I did stumble across this website that has a lot of pictures of construction.   If anyone did copy the Mullet River website construction instructions with pictures I would gladly pay for a copy.

Enjoy this link if you plan on building a kit.

I didn't fool with the brass, since there are no mirrors in my trackwork, where the underneath of the car can be seen running....so I used scribed styrene, and other wood and styrene parts to match the plans.  I found what I thought were gaps in the plans....maybe the video fills in the holes...but no mention was made of gluing the three parts of the roof on my CB&Q/C&S sidedoor together.  One or more roof section would pop up, so I went back and glued them together and then reshaped the top of the sides for a tight but secure fit.  Since he is no longer producing these kits, I am glad I glommed the two sidedoors offered.
