Was set-up at one of our two annual regional trains shows yesterday and today in Asheville. Great facility right next to the airport. Was very poorly attended for some reason (the storm most likely) and sales were few. I met an nice fella who had a bunch of K-Like equipment he was selling so we struck up a trade for some of my stuff. In the lot were 4 of the 21" aluminum cars that had been Amtrak with the lettering and decals removed. I plan to re-letter them for the Southern and run them with our MTH Premiere SR F3's in the Tuxedo scheme. The locomotive is an ABBA so I will need to acquire another car or two to lengthen the consist.

What is a good way to re-letter these please?

Does anyone have a K-Line baggage and or Combine available? Plain preferred but any road might do. 18" baggage cars would probably be OK too.

Man - These are sure pretty!

Sam, I can't help with any cars myself but suggest you keep an eye out for Empire State Express cars. These seem to be the most plentiful and sell for the lowest price. I used to have an ESE RPO but sold it as it didn't match my GGD cars very well. If you have a lot of cars to reletter you might want to contact a custom decal guy to have some sets made. Doing this letter by letter on all these cars will be pretty tedious.
