I have been lurking and learning from all you guys and just finished my first structure. This will be my office for the pulpwood yard. Pete is reading the paper while Bruce changes a lightbulb. Bubba and his dog are returning after trimming some excess length wood. The structure is all styrene with "panty hose" screens. Someone needs to empty the garbage too. Thank you for all the "inspiration, pointers and hints" from your builds.

I never had to model window screening in any of the 7 models that I've made, but my recent project requires it. What did you use???

One more question, OK? How did you glue them in place so that they are so "non-curvy"? I'm struggling with that too. One reason is that I won't have an outer frame to use to "push" the material down taut and for glueing purposed too.

Well, I'd have to agree that that is one impressive first build! It is done in my favorite style--real character and no sign of the "purchased" look. As Don said, it is one of a kind, and everybody who sees it will appreciate that.
