Okay, Forumites, here's a quiz:

Which wrench-weilding, nut splitting, valve-setting, wire twisting, megger-cranking, fire breathing, anti-smoke, anti-lashup, close-coupling, crown sheet-covering, coal-shoveling, oil-atomizing, know-your-job, do-your-job, be-right-or-be-humbled, beer-running, train-drinking, no-nonsense General Manager and Master Mechanic of a terminal railroad company and colorful member of the OGR Forum will be celebrating the anniversary of his first breath, which occurred so long ago that Lima had not yet built the 765 or the 4449, Alco had not yet built the 844, 3985, or 261, Alco-GE diesel electrics were already laying down smoke trails in yards and on passenger trains, and some "other" locomotive builder was trying to kill the steam engine?

Hint:  He could celebrate by lighting (with a fusee, of course) 35 big candles placed atop each side of the 4449's boiler.

Now, who could that be . . . ?

Well thanks, Tom, I really appreciate the thought. Truth be told, however, the 4449 is 11 months older than I am. Lighting off 35 PAIR of big candles up on top of 4449's boiler jacket sure would be kind of cool though.

As a side note, our daughter and her husband, presented me with a Ruger GP100 .357 Magnum stainless steel revolver with 5 1/4" barrel, for my BIG NUMBER 70!  If I can't work on steam all the time, at least I can still shoot.

Thanks again guys.
