My son’s model train engine has a chipped flange on a drive wheel of the front truck. It runs fine except for a ‘click’ each revolution as it follows a curve in the track. Is this something I can replace? If so, need I purchase a drive wheel, disassemble the truck and replace just the wheel or does the convenience-to-cost ratio make it better to just buy a replacement truck to swap out? Are parts readily available? I have tools! Do I need a repair shop?

I forgot to include in my original post that the engine is a(n) MTH 30-4021-1. Thanks for your assistance !
M.T.H. is out of business. The link to its website is still operating and allows zip code search to its former service affiliates, some of which may participate on this forum. I'll welcome responses from those service centers that are and welcome recommendations from any readers who have experience in this type of repair. Thanks in advance to all of you!
Using a micrometer or caliper, measure the diameter of the wheel flange, the diameter of the tread, and the thickness of the wheel. This should help in finding a suitable replacement.

MTH did not sell wheels separate. It was purchase a truck. You would want to use a wheel puller and proper press to reinstall. I do have some broken trucks with wheels, and may even have that units truck. If you wanted to just send the truck, I could either repair yours or swap. G
MTH is NOT out of business yet as I just ordered a bunch of parts.
I apologize to M.T.H. for my error in interpreting comments I read online and for making a mis-dialed phone number. M.T.H. does have a functioning phone number and website. Thank you, Curtis !
ErnC,
I sent you an email off forum if you are interested.
Thanks,
Jeff
