anybody?
I think it is JST-SH. The path to figuring out the connectors is to first measure the pin spacing. SH is 1mm.
Here is nice kit on Amazon. Prices have climbed precepitously as of late!
Thanks Norm......I'll measure and order. I do like the pre crimped wire and pins on these smaller sizes.
BTW..My friend with a 3D printer has made several chuff wheels based on your design.

Actually, they're Molex Picoblade 1.25mm connectors, they're used in a number of Lionel Legacy engines.

I'd wait and order the correct connectors.
A couple years back I ordered some 'micro JST' connectors off eBay and they fit. They are described as 1.25mm spacing though. Curiously enough the Molex ones are the same spacing. Hmm. Is this what we're talking about? My measurements above were off, they are actually 1.25mm for the chuff input connector.
This is the stock ERR connector and reed switch:
This is my 'micro' JST, maybe not SH.
Maybe it's this?
Nice kit Norm, and that's the connector. It's not uncommon for these sellers to misrepresent the brand of specific connectors, I see it all the time.
Digikey shipment arrived today I used their standard postal shipping and I guess the stars just lined up for me. Good company. The 1.25 Picoblade fits the err sound commander perfect. They are out of the bare female pins so I ordered a 4 position plug jumper with pins installed. Removed first two and left position 3 and 4. Works.
I pulled up the pdf on the SS461 honeywell mag switch and found that it provide a high and low output based on magnet polarity. I'll try both poles and see if any difference. I wonder if it changes the err chuff.

Either will probably work, the sound board will chuff on the high to low transition.
