I am trying to find some HO and O Scale models of the railroads I grew up with around South Carolina. I have the Southern Main pretty much covered. But the former Seaboard/Family Lines branch lines in the area of upstate SC were a rail fans best dream. I am sharing a few pics taken by Jim Owen....only for the use of helping ID the locos in use around Anderson SC. These Seaboard locols ran with Uboats, GP38's, etc...all with 4-wheel trucks. I was able to see some of this as a kid in the early 80's. By the time I was real railfan who could get out and about...this was ALL gone. Now a shortline runs whats left of the trackage and has attracted new big business.
