Wow, That is going to be a lot of long trips!
Yep, but gives me time to see my Brother and Sisters!
Well that is a silver lining!!
Good luck with the teeth pulling, Mike. Doesn't sound like fun at all. Any chance your medical insurance would cover some of the costs?
As an FYI, I'm having the same problems with my dental ins. Had a tooth split in half in March and had to have it pulled, they couldn't crown it. My ins says they pay 80% of the cost when I call, but they won't pay the dentist? Long story, but I have a new dentist, my old one retired. Old dentist didn't pull teeth, sent me to an oral surgeon. My medical paid for that tooth extraction which I had a few years ago, but he was an M.D. Another difference is I was still working back then and on my regular ins plan. Now I am on Medicare and my old ins plan is now my secondary. I am wondering if that has something to do with it all?
Anyway good luck with yours and I hope they will at least cover some of it for you. Seems like every time something goes wrong now, they want to pay less and less of the costs.
My dental plan is my brother-in-law who is a dentist. He is a year younger than me, so he won’t be working too many more years. My teeth are little trouble, but my wife has a lot of trouble. So far he has kept us away from the dental surgeon for the most part.
The insurance will pay 50% but that still leaves me with a $420.00 bill. But that's better then the whole bill LOL!
Well that is not quite as bad then. Still a good chunk, but at least they are paying something for you.
Just wondering, since your problems were caused by other medical treatments for something else, I wonder if your medical ins would also pay some? Probably grabbing for straws here, and just a thought. You have probably already checked that though, but everything you can get helps.
Wow Mike, !!
Best of luck on the procedures.
Larry
No problem Larry, just like the Corps, if it isn't one thing it's another!
Thanks guys!
RTR I will have to check into that, I had never thought about it as a medical thing, but if the will cover some that would only be a plus! Thanks for the idea of doing that!
Probably won't cover anything, but you never know? Good luck and I hope it works!

I hope it helps, the radiologist sent a referral letter to the U of W to submit to Medicare. Im keeping my fingers crossed! Thanks for the idea, I will let you know what they say!
That was quick! The Dr's referral should certainly help a bunch too. Sure hope it works for you, Mike.
