Good luck with the teeth pulling, Mike. Doesn't sound like fun at all. Any chance your medical insurance would cover some of the costs?

As an FYI, I'm having the same problems with my dental ins. Had a tooth split in half in March and had to have it pulled, they couldn't crown it. My ins says they pay 80% of the cost when I call, but they won't pay the dentist? Long story, but I have a new dentist, my old one retired. Old dentist didn't pull teeth, sent me to an oral surgeon. My medical paid for that tooth extraction which I had a few years ago, but he was an M.D.  Another difference is I was still working back then and on my regular ins plan. Now I am on Medicare and my old ins plan is now my secondary. I am wondering if that has something to do with it all?

Anyway good luck with yours and I hope they will at least cover some of it for you. Seems like every time something goes wrong now, they want to pay less and less of the costs.

Well that is not quite as bad then. Still a good chunk, but at least they are paying something for you.

Just wondering, since your problems were caused by other medical treatments for something else, I wonder if your medical ins would also pay some? Probably grabbing for straws here, and just a thought. You have probably already checked that though, but everything you can get helps.
