I am having problems finding photos and drawings for a Coal delivery chute that could be found in most typical towns growing up when I was young kid. Can you please post pictures of Coal chutes you remember? I am trying to model a Large delivery coal chute with a cover house and trestle above.  But cannot find pictures of the entire system.

The Weber - Bunke - Lange - coal company with the over head trestle and house is something I would like to emulate....

Thanks!

I am not sure what you are looking for, but the kitbuilder in W. Va. who has offered  a large coal mine tipple, and logging sawmill, offeres a commercial coal structure,  the guy in York, Pa. has offered a commercial coal dealer tower, which I kitbashed by making it do double duty to served locos and coal sales by adding a track  ramp up and enclosed car shed (like a covered bridge), and somebody offered a kit of the trackside coal facility at Cobleskill, N.Y.  And there is another one, all in O scale.  And you might search HO structure kits on the bay, to see what they have offered in commercial coal structures.  That would require a scratch build, but they might have something interesting you can copy.

Often times I search out HO structures looking for ideas. I found this prototype that will probably need some compression for O Scale but it does feature the enclosed hopper track. Some construction photos are shown on the site as well as the history of the structure.
