Need help - Lionel smoke stack repair | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

DGJONESOGR Forum Member SUPPORTING MEMBER

I have a Lionel Industrial Smoke stack that has quit all together - lights and smoke do not work.

Has anyone had theirs stop working and how did you repair. Not sure where to begin looking for the problem as it looks like it should be a simple device.

would appreciate any suggestions.

Check first to insure the unit is getting proper power. If so, try jumping out the on/off switch. If still no good, more than likely the circuit board is bad.

Larry, I had bypassed the switch but still nothing lit up or smoked.

Does anyone know the proper way to take the smoke unit and lights out?

Does Lionel have replacement boards available if that is the problem?
