Hi Everyone,

I have a new MTH Premier Tanker Car and I'm trying to attach a ETD that MTH sells to it. I took out 3 screws from each area around the truck and accidentally took out one more in addition near the most center of the trucks (total 4 on each side now). There's this metal plate floating around inside now and I still can't take off the assembly to get to the screw that holds the truck.

I need help taking off one of the trucks and also tips on getting that metal floater inside connected to the two accidental screws I took out.

I also saw while searching someone did it to a Railing Tanker without issues. I put a decent amount of force, but I'm worried its going to crack before it comes off.

Thanks

Under magnification you would see the bracket separation line where the orange lines have been added.  The added orange lines are in the same plane.
The red arrow points to one of the Side Screw locations.  See opposite side for other side screw location.

See the Center Screw hole for frame removal.  The "DO NOT REMOVE SCREW" hole is shown for general information.

The Two Side Screws and the Center Screw will free the frame for removal.  Lift it off after screws are removed.

As for tips to reattach the Do Not Remove Screw, it may be evident after the truck support frame has been removed.  My tank has a large hole near that screw hole so you could rig a right angle wire with sticky on the end.  It also appears that the tank end cap may come off to allow access.

The only car available for my inspection was a Railking so please let me know if this is correct.
