Need help with modern 345 Culver Unloader

DGJONESOGR Forum Member SUPPORTING MEMBER

While checking out my modern 345 Culver Unloader (Lionel item number 6-37952) a short must have happened because it stopped running and in few seconds, wires melted. I have repaired the wires but it still seems to be a dead short so I assume something is amiss on the PCB.

Has anyone experienced this problem or know of what could cause it. Suggestions for repair?

Not something that is likely to b diagnosed in ASCII Don, I suspect that will have to go to a repairman.
