Just thought I'd post a picture of the latest addition to the family. A pea green 318e w/ matching 300 series passenger cars. This little guy has a traditional motor and likes to make a lot of noise. I'm really starting to enjoy the sound and character of traditional motors coupled with the feel of the Lionel postwar transformer. I'm actually thinking about switching my preorder of the red 400e from PS3 to traditional. I'll have to sleep on it...

Very nice set. Actually, it looks like you have several nice setS. I particularly liked the Ives set you had for sale awhile back.
I personally prefer the traditional motors, but do have a few sets with PS2.

Great looking set, I understand about the sound, I own both the original Lionel 263E Conventional and the repro MTH 263E P2 both have their plus side.
I love the sound of the old conventional but I also love the slow speed control of the P2.
