can anybody point me to the chuff switch location on a New Haven 1334 Pacific? It's the 28013 trainmaster version. I had to do a repair on the tender for a missing bearing strip and now that I have been able to run it the railsounds work but there is no chuffing.

Under the tender shell near the rear truck there is a loose wire with what looks like a 1/4" puck inside some shrink tubing. I can't remember seeing a magnet on any of the wheels or a place where this wire would clip in if that is a sensor.

Can anybody post a pic or two if they have one of these units? Or the wiring diagram if it's in the tender?

Thanks.

It doesn't seem like I can access anything from the bottom I will have to figure out how to take the shell off. I am wondering if it's not a voltage thing. I'm running it as transformer controlled right now and don't push it past 10 volts for the speed I need. May be too low along with low smoke output and a very dim headlight.

The unit was LNIB and needed a tender truck bearing strip replaced to get it running. I think it was a shelf queen in a prior life.
