Recently I finished a few project and now my NH mixed freight is running. The engine is a Flyer 4654 that was pretty rough when I picked it up at a train show. The boxcar is an Ebay McCoy. The gondola was all of $5.00 in an antique mall in Salem MA.( it looks a lot better now than it did). The caboose is another eBay treasure that needed something to be done to it and I needed an NH caboose so here it is. The passenger car on this mixed freight everyone has seen before. All of these were painted with Rustoleum thined with Scalecoat 1 thinner. As I was doing these I was running out of Floquil clear gloss and haven't been able to find any so I tried the Rustoleum automotive clear coat. This stuff is about $22.00/ quart on Amazon and it works better than anything I've ever used. It sprays perfect right out of the can, dries quickly and is as hard as a rock, it's also very glossy. Not sure the video is going to work but there are also pictures.
