HSL is proud to announce a new product for Lionel postwar enthusiasts! The Lionel Consumer Publications Digital Archive 1937 - 1969 contains sixteen publications including three Lionel-authored books:  1) Lionel Wonder Book of Railroading, 2) Handbook for Model Railroaders, and 3) the ever-popular miniature Model Railroading book that was published multiple times throughout the 50s and reprinted by Greenberg in the early 1990s.  I am sure most of us have a very well-worn copy of the Model Railroading book laying around somewhere!  Several track layout planning books, Candid Camera Shots, Scenic Effects, Romance of Model Railroading, etc. along with neat bonus material round out the archive.

2)  Lionel Consumer Catalog Digital Archive 1925 - 1942 and 1945 - 1969 Tablet Versions

In response to numerous requests, HSL announces Tablet Versions of two of the most popular HSL / Lionel digital archive products:  Lionel Consumer Catalog Digital Archive 1925 - 1942 Tablet Version and Lionel Consumer Catalog Digital Archive 1945 - 1969 Tablet Version.  These products allow you to view all of the Lionel catalogs from each of the respective volumes on your tablet device (i.e. iPad, NOOK ,etc.).  Depending on the interest level of these two products, HSL may consider developing other volumes for tablet viewing.

Full details on these three new products and all HSL digital archive products (including the OGR Digital Archive) are available from the HSL web-site:  www.hslinc.com .  All products will be available at York (see post in the York forum) and can be ordered directly from HSL today.  You can pre-order all of these items for free York delivery and merely stop by and pick them up at the HSL booth.  Please contact me for details.

Please contact me if you have any questions about any of these products.  Thank you for your continued support.

Thanks, John! I’ve been playing around with these for the past month. If you guys thought this product was great on the PC, you will need to see how incredible it is on the IPad!  Forget the mouse and the $1000+ reprint books, there is nothing like perusing these treasures while relaxing in the easy chair, or using as a reference at your favorite train show.  You can’t go wrong here!

Hi Everyone,

Just a reminder that I will be at York next week with several opportunities to view demonstrations of all HSL products including the new Tablet Versions and Lionel Consumer Publications Digital Archive 1937 - 1969.  I will also have demonstrations available of all of Bob Osterhoff's products including his latest offering, All Board at Lionel Digital Collection, of the very rare Lionel "All Aboard" publication (Lionel's in-house publication that ran from 1946 - 1959).  Bob will also have all HSL products available at his table in the Red Hall.  Please view this link for all of the HSL York offerings/opportunities: HSL York Thread .

Some initial reviews of the new Tablet Versions are coming in and they are very positive.  Stop by and see for yourself how the Lionel catalogs look on an Apple iPad!

I hope to see you next week!
