Had to wait all day for FedEx...they finally delivered my LC+ Berkshire about 6:00 pm...but it was well worth the wait!!!
The whistle is noticeably improved over the original LC+ Steam Locomotives, especially when adjusted with the LC+ app.

Looks great! Now if Lionel would just release a LC+ Polar Express Berkshire, I would buy one.

I think their is plan for one to be out mid 2018.
Thanks for the vids! The whistle does sound better. Still waiting for mine to arrive.
Nice engine! Great layout too!
Jon
Very nice.
Thanks for sharing Paul! Great consist. enjoy your new engine!
Very nice...I wasn't going to get one (one is enough) but am considering it. I don't run my original 726RR so I was hesitant on this. Still, very, very nice. Terrific sound.
This engine is BEGGING for a LC+ Polar Express version with cars....................
With 2 Lionchief Polar Expresses in the fleet I didn't think I was going to like this new Berkshire. Boy, was I wrong! LOOK AT THAT SMOKE!!!

I have the LC+ camelback and it smokes like an MTH. This is a good thing for those of us who really like smoke! How does the LC+ Berk compare to the Berk in the Lackawanna set of a few years ago or the original Polar Express?
Wow! Thanks for sharing the video. I have the CC1 version of the Berk and this looks great!
Mmm, the postwar Berk was essentially a freelanced model, not really based on any 1:1 prototype. The existing traditional-sized Polar Express steam locomotive is based on the movie and Pere Marquette no. 1225.
I like both and I love this new release from Lionel, but, for the Polar Express scheme, I prefer the one inspired by the movie.
