So I have the Mr Muffin Lehigh Valley C420, love it, runs fine and looks great. I noticed today that the front safety chain became disconnected from each other. I am certainly not going to send it to Lionel for this. But am the only one this has happened to? And is there any way to reconnect it?

Perhaps use a fine strand of wire to bind the end to the railing or to replace the broken link.

Is the chain loose from one side or broken in half?

One link is on the left side and the rest is on the right. I cant tell if it was a solder job or if they were actually linked together.
