Lemax has a new circus funhouse shown in the top picture.  The figures are larger than O Scale, but it works for me.

The new Lemax pendulum swinging ride is seen in the upper right of the lower picture flying over the tracks.  I really like the motion and lights.  Again, the figures are a bit large for O Scale.

I posted a video in the video section but I couldn’t figure out how to upload it here.

Use the same attachment tool, used the same way. Insert large check box and all.

After the file is uploaded, it takes a while for the player to load into the text box and you see a framed blue play icon but no picture, then a bit more for it to process fully and be playable (normal blue player arrow & blue band.) Normally this will all pan out if you post without waiting for it to actually show and play in the composing box.   I find the MP4 videos load easiest vs other video types that used to "bounce" on me.

I have 5 older Lemax Amusement rides that I am about to use in an amusement park.  I am looking to dig into the electronics to be able to turn the motion on and off but leave lights on at all times.  It appears they seal the bottoms of the rides tightly and I have been unable to access the electronics.  I am afraid to cut into the plastic for fear of damaging the guts.  Does anybody have experience with this.  My goal is to control movement with a bank of relays controlled by an Arduino.

Lemax’s Spookytown Tilt ‘N’ Hurl, which came out last year as a Michael’s craft store exclusive, is now in general release. (So don’t spend the $200 some eBay dealers have been trying to get for these. I bought mine for $90 this month.)

Anyway, I took a quick video when I noticed how interested one of our cats, Ringo, was as I tested it.

I’m going to do a small amusement park and plan to use three of the Lemax Amusement rides.  How do you handle the controller for power and sound.

Also I’m looking for the carnival gateway but not having much luck.

The rides are powered by a 4.5v wall wart that come with the rides.

Menards sells a plug and play kit that includes a splitter so that you can run multiple rides off of one wall wart.  It also includes extensions that will allow the wall warts to reach the outlets.  It’s Menards sku# 2794681 and sku# 2794035.

The sound is controlled by a separate switch.

I have the three way power supply from Lemax plus some extra single ones.  My question is what do you do with the power switch.  It is rather large.

Do you drill a big hole and drop it underneath the layout.  If you do that how do you control the individual amusements.  You would have to reach underneath the platform to turn them on and off and control the sound.

So, my question is; how has the OP done it.
