With Lionel stuck in repetitive mode, I don't expect much in this catalog. 

I guess with Jerry out as CEO, the only catalog surprise will be who signed the introduction.

Anyone know?

I just went to the Lionel website, but didn't see the countdown clock. Has it been removed?

I didn't see the countdown clock either!!!

I just checked and it shows up just fine.  1 day 23 hrs and counting.

Must be one of those browser problems again. I know in the past some couldn't see it, while others could. Just checked, if I use Google Chrome, it's not there. If I use Internet Explorer, it shows the clock working. Go figure!

Rumor has it it is a gentleman by the name of Howard Hitchcock, don't know how true that is.

I heard that it's Charlie, the new CEO of Lionel

The web-site and count-down clock work perfectly with Chrome.

My LHS was trying to tell me that MTH and Lionel were merging, that was why the MTH catalog is late (Lionel doing all O gauge in the deal).  I assumed it was a late April Fools joke, and did not pay it any attention. 

 

But now I'm wondering.... if JC is not the CEO??????

I see the clock on one computer, but still see the RTR catalog window on another.

I dont know if its a browser thing, or the website is just varying the front page.

Just pick any clock and wait until 9am Thursday morning. Tradition seems to be to post a release time, then be late with it anyways, so the clock is merely a suggestion as to the earliest it could be available.

Speaking of browser problems. Watch out for the latest Firefox update. I installed it yesterday and my computer was compromised. Even my Norton 360 and Max Spy Ware did not catch the issues. I had to use restore several times to get rid of the problems.

 

Just an FYI

Wonderful.   Was this version 20?  If so I think I downloaded it a few days ago.

Apparently not. In fact, Mike R. has stated previously that he would like to head up Lionel some day. That would be a positive thing, IMHO.
