I bought these Pacific Fruit Express reefer trailers a while back and they are nice. There actually about 35’ but that’s ok for the era these old trailers were in service. The 50s Revell Kenworth I build several years ago and I have gave it a update with a chrome pin. Enjoy the pics

Looking good!
Lee, Very nice work on the tractor. Your day cab is the perfect tractor to haul trailers up to 200 miles from the piggyback yard to the consignee. Respectfully, John in Lansing, ILL
Chris. Thank you
John. Thanks, I know it is that’s why chose to keep it a day cab that’s what I do for a living I haul sea cans I go about 200mi radius of the rail yards been doing this for 22yrs pulled lots of these pig trailers till they phased them out. Here’s a pic of me hooked to a non powered reefer. Customers use these for insulated boxes when they really don’t need a reefer but still need the protection from the heat and cold

Nice work sir!
Had high hopes for these until they arrived at the local store. Why tool and make a scale trailer the wrong size???

Technically they are 37.5' long ....
Slightly longer than a Weaver 35' trailer but short for a 40' trailer. If Lionel only made them scale length it would have been a real hit!
I stand corrected. Beside the “rivet” counting they are a nice trailer.
