Has anyone bought this set yet.I am looking for videos to hear the sounds also any thoughts on this new set with the lionchief sounds.Thanks all and happy new year

Here is a review video that I found on Youtube last night. If you wish to see it fire up and hear the sounds, skip to the 4:34 mark in the video. To see it running, skip to the 5:20 mark. Hope this helps!

So this engine has better sounds and smoke than the first, but no ditch lights. Do the coaches have die-cast trucks like the first?

British steam locomotives didn't have ditch lights. The location of lanterns indicated the type of train it was.
