No Long Island, some of the more unique S-2 road names would be Ford, Youngstown Sheet, Portland Terminal, Morristown and Erie, to name a few...

Could very well be the very best cover on a toy train catalog. EVER.
I didn't see any 20th Century Limited or Dreyfuss Hudsons. Hopefully next catalog.

I saw those. The Youngstown sheet definitely got my attention

I’m waiting on those too!!!
Could we please see the SD70ACes before they delete the leak?
Peter Araujo posted:Could we please see the SD70ACes before they delete the leak?
Good point. Can we see the I-12 steamers too?
Well, I am one of the few conventional runners left, so motive power is pretty much a dead issue for me any more. Even. LC+ is more than I need and you pay a price for the extra features.
I will need to stick to occasional rolling stock in the new catalogs, I guess. They stopped making the postwar style 15” aluminum passenger cars, too. I have plenty of those from past issues, of course, so no complaints
As with many other things, time is quickly leaving me behind when it comes to model railroading. Give me my postwar.
Also how about scale rolling stock? I am waiting on Western Allegheny and buffalo Rochester and Pittsburgh Gla/ USRA hoppers.
@Dj'sOgaugetrains I'm pretty sure the I-12 is a bay-window caboose based on a B&O prototype, not a steam locomotive. They've been made before. You might be confusing it with the I10 designation for a PRR Decapod (which have also been made before ;-)
Can anyone post more catalog pics?
Yeah, like

Yeah, like SD70ACEs and more rolling stock.

What is the I-12 you mention? I thought it was a steamer... thanks!

And OCS unit.

Ah cool. It’s mentioned in the very first post in this thread. I thought it was a small steamer. But yeah now I remember the Lionel caboose. I had one years ago. Thanks!
We want more! We want more!!!!!!

I have not seen the hard copy catalog yet so I must be missing something in the feature sets of the various add-on cars. Otherwise I can't see why single dome cars have a MSRP of $329 and two car expansion sets on the same pages, each including a dome car, have a MSRP of $359. What gives?

"What gives?"
WI-FI video cameras are installed in the "vistavision" dome cars.

Another fantasy paint scheme? I took to reading what I could there and it says was to be shrouded like the Hudson but never happened. Couldn't see about the paint scheme completely, but it sounds like it never happened either.
I like that they brought this back, can't wait. I'm also wondering what else the catalog will have in store besides the big boy and the Santa Fe's?

They are Norfolk Southern. The UP cars for the Funeral Train and Excursion Cars, many are used in their Business train as well but the one cataloged OCS are NS.

They have the ditch lights and a new tooling for the HEP on the roof.
Let's have a look then.

The I-12 wagontop B&O caboose would likely sell pretty well, as they seem to go for a premium on eBay. I have one already, and think its a well made model.

Could someone post pictures of the Norfolk Southern Office Car Special items?
What is the new feature on the EM-1s? Is the radius O72? What are the road names ?

Yes, O-72 just like the last run.
Peter Araujo posted:I also hope with these new Vision Line Big Boys, the price tags on the 2014 version will go down on eBay.
The 2014 VL Big Boys are running out of warranty and parts are getting hard to find.
Those prices, which I've always questioned/been suspect of, will be plummeting soon enough.
Other than the No Coal load, do we know what other features are missing for the big boys compared to the 2014 run?
SDIV Tim posted:Other than the No Coal load, do we know what other features are missing for the big boys compared to the 2014 run?
The dual smoke units for each smoke stack, & the blowdown effect. This run appears to have a single smoke unit for both stacks.

Is the dynamo effect still there?

The Big Boys never had the dynamo steam effect, but they are on the Vision Line Challengers.

There was never a dynamo effect on a Big Boy. Just the Challengers and it is still on those.
I really want to see the NS Business Train and more SD70ACes.
Is the price of this Big Boy the same as the Visionline?

It's less. 2,199.99
Thanks!

No the new BB are 2,200 where as the vl BB's are 2,700.
