New plated MTH coalporters.....anyone got em? .....looking for opinions

These really look sweet(from a few internet photos I have seen). Anyone out there have any yet? Looking for honest opinions on the plating. I think MTH has the plating figured out. (how to do it). Thoughts on cosmetic flaws and photos would be appreciated. These seem pricey for a 4 car set.
