My pleasure!
Great stuff; I think these may be my favorite type of bridge in railroading. I love seeing creative work whether utilizing popsicle sticks, Plastruct components, 3D printing, what have you--
The driveway shots are great, they really convey the scale of your project. Nice work!
Wonderful craftsmanship. I'll have to take the Plastruct plunge some time in the future, since I purchased their 5 pack of truss bridge kits.
Your outdoor pics are so reminiscent of my build 12 years ago....the only place were the size can truly be appreciated. Same long shadows too.

Alan Graziano posted:CI am constructing three truss bridges. Two are 21-1/2 inches long and the center one is 54 inches long. I am going to build the two small bridges first. I am using Plastruct H and I beams. The main columns are 7/16 inch H beams. The diagonal bracing is 7/16" I beams. The top cross beams are 1 inch I beams and the bottom cross beams are 1-1/8 inch I beams. The top beams are 7/16 inch H beams constructed from ABS sheet. Each beam is three pieces.
Here are some pictures.
Hi, Are you the gentleman who custom builds oil refineries ?
Hello Alan, Absolutely amazing.
Yes,
I am the person that builds custom oil refineries.
Dan,
Thank you very much.
I know this thread is a few years old. I was hoping to know if you used plans or photos as you were working? Also, did you cut your gaussets out of plastic? Thanks......
